Anyone who knows Megastar knows that he is a die-hard fan of Mahanati Savitri. And after watching the biopic on such an actress, Megastar Chiranjeevi not only just felicitated the team that made the film but shared some amazing words too.
"Mahanati is a flawless film which made watch the whole film with tears rolling out it in my eyes. I got the great opportunity of working with Savitri garu in Punadhiraallu where she acted as hero's mother and I'm one of the hero's friends. That time she blessed me that we all will become noted artists in the coming years" said Chiranjeevi.
"I'm happy that a biopic on Savitri garu is being made but also got doubts if Nag Ashwin would be able to pull it off as he has more of foreign experience than in local tinsel town," said Chiranjeevi, praising the director to the sky. He feels that Nag Ashwini deserves all the praises for the film more than anyone.
"The way he has shown both beautiful sides of Savitri garu and also the times where she's bedridden is awesome. And he gave a directorial touch by avoiding to show Savitri's ill-health look as he has shot those scenes aesthetically without showing her face. That has blown me away. We remember her only as a beautiful-faced actress and we don't want that memory to fade away. I appreciate Nag Ashwin for such portrayal" he added.
"Within minutes of watching the film, I've forgotten that it is Keerthi Suresh and looked at her only as Savitri. She did a fabulous job. Also, Dulquer Salman has impressed me a lot in the role of Gemini Ganeshan. I've worked with Gemini garu in Rudraveena movie where he played my father" he stressed.
At the same time, Megastar also praised Samantha, Naga Chaitanya, Vijay Devarkonda and Mohan Babu garu for their commendable performances.
