Isha Ambani, daughter of wealthiest industrialist and Reliance Industries CEO Mukesh Ambani, is getting married to Anand, the only son of Ajay Piramal & Swati Piramal, on 12th December. As a wedding gift from Piramal family, Isha and Anand are going to get an expensive Rs 450 crore new home Gulita in Worli. Post their wedding, the couple will move into this lavish five floored new home.
The Piramal group, which is into real estate, has acquired this building from Hindustan Unilever group in 2012 through a bidding. Since then, this building has been undergoing a wide renovation. Though Piramal group bought this building in 2012, Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) gave permit to Piramals to occupy it only on 19th of September, this year.
The richest building in Mumbai is owned by Isha's father Mukesh Ambani - Antilia (which is worth 14,000 Crore) and now this new building is expected to enter the list of highly expensive buildings in Mumbai. Gulita, 5 floored building, is spread over 50,000 sq.ft and it has got a lavish lawn, multi-purpose rooms and open air water body in first floor. In rest of the floors, Gulita has living rooms, dressings rooms, lounge areas and quarters for servants.
On 1st December, a grand pooja ceremony is planned in this building and the couple will move into this place after their wedding on 12th of December. According to the insiders, the workers were instructed to finish the final work of the renovation quickly and more than 1000 workers have been deployed to complete it.
