Indian guy was captain of crashed Indonesia plane

On Monday morning, Indonesian flight Boeing 737 bound to Depati Amir Airport in Pangkal Pinang crashed into Java Sea. The flight, carrying 189 passengers, sank into the sea minutes after takeoff from Jakarta.

Although the Lion Airlines didn't offer any reason for the plane crash, the flight's captain has been identified as Delhi-based Bhavya Suneja. The 31 year old Suneja has 6000 hours of flying experience as a captain and 5000 hours as a co-pilot. Suneja, a resident of Mayur Vihar, has been reportedly working for Lion Airlines from March, 2011. Apart from Delhi based Suneja, the flight was commanded by co-pilot Harvino and 6 cabin crew members.

According to the authorities, the B737 flight stopped communicating with the air traffic controllers 13 minutes after take off. The search operation by Indonesian Rescue Agency, with more than 300 persons including policemen, soldiers and fishermen, is still underway and so, they haven't rescued anyone.
