Indonesia plane crashed; 188 people on board

An Indonesian plane (Boeing 737 MAX8-JT610) with around 188 travelers onboard crash into the Java Sea of Indonesia after the flight lost connection in 13 minutes of take off at Jakarta International Airport. According to the officials, the plane was carrying 178 adults, 1 infant and 2 babies, apart from two pilots and five members of cabin crew. The flight was traveling from Jakarta to Depati Amir airport in Pangkal Pinang.

The tragic accident reportedly happened around 6:20 Local time (23:30 GMT), leaving all the families of these travelers in deep sorrow. The disaster agency of Indonesia has released some images which shows the debris and belongings that were floating in the Java sea after the plane sank into it.

The plane, operated by Lion airlines, had been in use from August this year and it was a Boeing 737 MAX8 model. Speaking to media about the accident, the CEO of Lion airlines Edward Sirait said: "We cannot offer any comment at this moment. We are trying our best to collect all the information and data that led to this incident."

The rescue operation by disaster agency is still underway and the causality number is not yet known. on other hand, videos and photos of the damaged plane is going viral on social media sites. Before losing the connection, the plane recorded at an altitude of 3650 feet and before that, it climbed to 5000 ft from the ground.
