Grand old friends Pakistan and China, who happen to be staunch rivals of India, are rebonding. As part of the move, Pakistan is all set to send its first human to the space. And it is planned with the help of China. Ahead of PM Imran Khan's first ever visit to China's Beijing, Pakistan announced that it would send its first human in 2022 with the support of China.
An agreement between Pakistan Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission (SUPARCO) and a Chinese company has already been signed, corroborated by Pakistan's Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry. He said Pakistan's first space mission has been planned for 2022 and the federal Cabinet meeting chaired by PM Khan approved the plan on Thursday (25 Oct, 2018).
Earlier this year, Pakistan launched two indigenously built satellites into orbit, using a Chinese launch vehicle. Meanwhike, Imran Khan, who has Pak's military support, is going on his first visit to China on 3rd November and will hold meetings with Chinese President Xi Jinping and Premier Li Keqiang. Certainly, Pak and China getting closer isn't a good news for India.
