After an extensive schedule in Varanasi, the team of Rajinikanth starrer Petta has wrapped up shooting for the whole film. Directed by Karthik Subbaraj of Pizza fame, the film is slated for release during Pongal, one of the auspicious festivals for Tamilians.
The film crew has cut a cake at Varanasi to celebrate the wrap and had headed back to Chennai. Rajinikanth and Trisha have cut a cake on the sets and Trisha has shared these photographs on her official Twitter handle. Fans of the actors have shared their happiness about the film being wrapped up and local fans there in Varanasi have also taken part in the celebrations.
While Rajinikanth has arrived at the Chennai airport, media has immediately asked the actor to say what he thinks about the #MeToo, he said, 'People should not misuse this movement. Whoever faces these kinds of allegations has to face the law and follow the protocol. Even Varaimuthu, who has denied the allegations will also have to do the same,' said the actor.
On the other hand, Rajinikanth is gearing up for the release of his upcoming and delayed film 2.O, on November 29.
