After Sruthi Hariharan alleged Arjun Sarja of sexual harassment, Arjun has broken his silence. Responding to Sruthi's claim that he had touched her inappropriately by placing his hand over her back and hugged her tightly during the shooting of a romantic scene in Nibunan although it was not needed, Arjun simply didn't go into details much, but he had denied all her allegations.
Arjun told that he was quite shocked with Sruthi's allegations. He said he had worked with over 60 top heroines and acted in over 150 films in a three-decade-long career. Arjun said he has maintained good relation with all his heroines. He said he is in a complete shock. Arjun claimed that he had in fact told director Arun Vaidyanathan (director of Nibunan) to "tone down" the romantic scene as he was "uncomfortable" while performing with his daughter's-age actress. Sources close to the actor told that he will not spare Sruthi and he would soon initiate legal action against Surthi for defaming him.
Looks like, the ongoing 'Me Too' movement is taking many turns and twists and is going long way in Indian film industry.
