Director Sekhar Kammula has lodged a police complaint against the propaganda in the name of his 'assistant'. Going into details, an unidentified person said to be claiming as 'director Sekhar Kammula's assistant' has allegedly publicized advertisements in several online classifieds such as Quikr and OLX and luring aspiring actors saying they would get chance to act in Sekhar's next film. Allegedly, the accused has been seeking money from the aspiring actors to attend 'audition'.
Sekhar, who came to knew about this, was said to be shocked and immediately alerted police about this. In his statement to media, Sekhar Kammula stated that he doesn't have any assistant and asked people not to trust such 'fake ads' in his name.
Sekhar Kammula has been doing well after Fidaa. The director had in the past introduced several youngsters including Varun Sandesh, Nikhil and many others. Although Tamanna was launched opposite Manchu Manoj in Sri, her first claim to fame was Happy Days. Sekhar has also given break to several character actors in his films.
Amidst this ground, Sekhar has once again clarified to one and all that he is not involved in such acts and asked people to not believe if anyone throws his name for chances/opportunities.
