In a gruesome and horrific crime, a doctor, who had closed his clinic and returning home with his wife and daughter, was tied to tree by miscreants and his wife, 12-yr-old daughter were gang-raped by the miscreants at gunpoint.
This bone-chilling crime took place in Gaya of Bihar. After shutting the clinic in Gaya's Guraru Bazar at 8 PM on Wednesday night (June 13), the family was heading home on a motorcycle, passing through Sondiha.
Around 20 armed men said to have rounded the family of three and gang-raped the helpless woman and daughter, while the husband was tied to nearby tree. This shocking crime has jolted the region. Two of the attackers have been identified by the family and arrested. As per reports, 17 are in police custody and being questioned. Apparently, local villagers helped the police catch the accused by putting up roadblocks to block their escape.
It also emerged during the investigation before this incident, the same group had snatched mobile phones and cash from a couple of students passing through the village.
The cops initially were said to be negligent. The officer in charge of the police station that looks after the area has been suspended. RJD leader and Lalu's son Tejashwi Yadav targeted Chief Minister Nitish Kumar over the poor state of law and order.
