IPL Betting: Arbaaz Khan admits Losing 2.8 Cr Last Year

From the last six years, actor Arbaaz Khan, brother of Superstar Salman Khan, is said to be placing bets on IPL teams. And then sources in Maharashtra police are said to have revealed to leading media houses that the actor lost chunks of money in the recent IPL too.

After the arrest of one bookie Sonu Jalaan, today Arbaaz Khan is called for questioning by Maharashtra police. During the interrogation, the actor revealed that he lost almost 2.8 crores in last year IPL and is not paying that sum to Sonu Jalan. Regarding which, Sonu is said to have threatened the 50-year-old actor with dire consequences.

Previously bookie Sonu was arrested in 2008 for betting on the inaugural season of IPL and then his links to Karachi based mafia don Dawood Ibrahim also got exposed. He goes by the nickname "Junior Kolkata" in the kingdom of cricket betting and he has many high profile clients like Arbaaz Khan in his kitty.

However, Arbaaz's 2.8 crore money got settled as the actor has won another bet this year. And now, as per Maha police, Arbaaz will be made a witness in this high profile betting case involving Dawood Ibrahim's betting syndicate.
