Star writer V Vijayendra Prasad gained national recognition with films like Baahubali and Bajrangi Bhaijaan which have been declared as blockbusters. The star writer has been knocked with opportunities from all the corners of the country.
However Vijayendra Prasad has been facing tough time for his next film Srivalli which lacks notable stars. The missing stars failed to bring buzz to his next directorial. During his recent interview, Vijayendra Prasad revealed that star music composer AR Rahman offered him to pen the script of Manikarnika which is based on the life story of Jhansi Laxmibhai.
His recent directorial Srivalli is hitting the screens this Friday, which features new actors. The movie has been struggling to create buzz despite of SS Rajamouli lending his voice and several celebrities like Ramcharan, Prabhas promoting the movie. Srivalli is a perfect example how a decent star cast can help the film get decent openings.
With new faces, Vijayendra Prasad who managed to make it big with his writing skills fails to make much impact with Srivalli. The trailers and the songs too failed to impress the audience because of which the film lacked the much needed buzz.
